CHILDREN AND YOUTH MINISTRIES:
..In order to make ready for the lord a people perfectly prepared..(LK 1:17)
We are doing church planting and shepherding ministries in southern districts of Tamilnadu,Estate areas of Kerala.And pioneer works are going on at Nepal and Bhutan.
Now we have more than 25 sunday services. Mainly our churches are conducting sunday services in houses,under trees,under street lights and open air, because we have no own buildings.
WHY CHURCH BUILDING IS MUST IN TAMILNADU
We (The Indian church planters) are really engaging in the battle field.Many of them are facing threatening,persecution,poverty, sickness and etc..But they are still in the field to win the dying souls.But in the most areas their labour is not giving 100% result.because they are unable to build the church buildings.
We are using house church /open air church concept,but that may be alright for the some areas of the cities,It does not work in most other places of our land.
1)For the avarage indian,God has to be worshiped in God's house.They are giving importance and honour to the place of worship than whatever they believe.
2)India is a land of thousands of castes,tribes and clans.For reasons of culture one caste/tribe may not socialise freely in the house of another caste /tribe.but all(both new comers and believers) feel free to come to a common House of God.
3)In the severe winter or monsoon,the open air church services(under street lights,trees,street corners,other public places) are not possible.
4)The young girls are hasitading to attend open air churches and their parents also not allowing them to go to other's houses.
5)In some places christians are attacked for worshiping in the open/public places.therefore they need protection.
6)We are doing ministries among unreached people groups and at unreached areas.In this areas the people are not willing to give their houses/buildings for rent to do ministries.In some places the house owners are threatend by hindu extremist to avoid christians.
So the worship building is must,even if it is small and very simple. Most of the beleivers are coming from poor families.Many of them are one/two from their families,but others are remaining unsaved.so they are unable to offer for the church buildings without their whole families support. Then only we are asking you to pray for our need of church buildings in our mission fields.
We hope that,if we joind hands and kneel down before God together, The Lord will open the doors to meet our financial needs to build the kingdom of God and House of God in this generation in this Land. So we request you to pray for us.
